Meet the team - Archie

If you've visited our Smales Farm store, you've probably met Archie. Archie is our front-of-house superstar, shift manager and all-round great guy. You can't miss his distinctive British accent and lovely big smile. Archie gives us the lowdown on all things Shake Out and how his journey began.

Archie, what is your role and how long have you been with Shake Out?
I'm a Shift Manager and have been with Shake Out for a little over a year - not quite from when it first opened, but almost. I like to consider myself a founding team member!

What do you most enjoy about being a team member at Shake Out?
Being social and having fun - we have such a great team so it's definitely a bonus. I've also really enjoyed learning new things and having the opportunity to teach my fellow team members.

What do you like most about Shake Out?
It's simplicity!

What’s your go-to item on the menu? 
A good ol' single.

What attracted you to working at Shake Out?
Again, it's simplicity! Also, the space to grow, not just in terms of management but also as a person. I was really thankful that the lovely Tomoko (our Store Manager) was kind enough to give me the chance to work here - I love the brand, and our store.
